  • too bad for them.... a knife... pepper spray.... a gun..... a rock......a few solutions come to mind...

  • a woman is raped every 23 seconds there. Will you ask the rapist to use condoms?

  • Loved the video, but the music in the background was a little weird. It was a little too joyous and happy, it contrasted the images of HIV+ women with healthy babies on thier backs. It's good that the babies don't have HIV, but whos going to care for these children? They will end up in orphanages. Another devestating result of AIDS> I'm sorry, just my opinion on the music, it should have been on Sesame Street, not an AIDS dosumentary.

  • Very powerful... Very well done! And as far as some comments below, I find it so sad how the ignorance continues after all these years! Its remarkable that we are finally taking this crucial step to help.

  • 1.every civilization started at the bottom, so why should they be any different. What does education have to do with getting yourself out of the gutter... youve got hands pull yourself up

2.condoms, condoms, and condoms. Hiv/Aids is so wide spread there. They have condom dispensaries USE THEM

3.Why could we stop the spread of bacteria in the 1800's with nothing more than cloths and cheap booze???

4.one of the biggest things the west is doing over there is blood testing. we do it for free.WALK

  • (KaJiLLiN420)You are extremely naive.

Have you even thought that maybe it's not because they don't want to help the situation but maybe because the education is not provided to them?

What about the fact that they are still human beings? Sex is apart of our everyday life and would be to them as well.

HIV can be passed on not only through sex, but blood transfusions, breast feeding, injecting drugs, infection in the health care settings etc.

BTW, how do many even know they have HIV?
