awesome video.. i have a quetion though.. i have a plant like this but it isnt duble headed.. its just one really skinny tall one... i have had it for 6 or 7 years and it hasnt really changed much.. how would i get this plant to be as thick as yours? and to grow a new one, do i just cut the top off and stick it in water?

Cheers cybercab. The camera is nothing special: a Konica-Minolta Dimage A2. I shot all the frames manually, then re-registered them all by hand in Photoshop so that they lined up properly. Then I imported them all into Windows Movie Maker, gave them 0.1 second each and added a soundtrack. There are probably much better ways to do it than this. :-)

Wow, this is awesome, i got one dragon tree of my own but died from winter frost, but i still kept it...hoping it'll regrow after all these days of caring for a "dead" plant :(

Thanks wqipinoy. This one actually got badly scorched from being out in the sun too long, so I pruned it and got to film it coming back to life. :-)

You should do another one, except even longer. Maybe you're in the process right now...

I agree it's a bit short, but nothing much else was going to happen within the frame of the shot. Maybe I'll try something else, like a sky scene, which doesn't take so long to record.
