My Basset Hound is a Puppy mill survivor, she came from an Amish puppy mill in Berlin Ohio, she around 6 years old and when we got her we where told that she had been bred soo many times. she was around 4 when we got her. We know that she had no shelter and her last litter of puppies as well as her where found in the snow when her rescuers arrived. Those puppies sadly had already went to heaven. Puppy mill owners are heartless and cruel and in my opinion should be charged with murder 1st degree

They should put a ban on the people who run these places after they clear the dogs out that says that the person can never own animals again.

This is one reason why I always go to a good rescue center to get my dogs.

Is there a way to stop businesses/stores from obtaining puppies from Puppy mills? Or how does it exactly work? As long as puppies are cheaper from buying from breeders, people will always buy it from those stores.

These people if u can call them that, cause they obviously don't have a heart when they put this poor animals through hell, should be given a taste of their own medicine, they should put them in a wire kennel naked and barefooted no food or water and slap them around everyday for a couple of days so they can see what they put these animal through
