Acuvue 2 colors - Ocean blue tint on blue eyes

This video is for people with blue eyes, to show how the tints look, and also how they shift when blinking.

I wear corrective contacts anyway so these were just for a change, and because the blue tint is great for identifying them.

To be honest, i wouldn't recommend tinted lenses unless you need corrective vision anyway. They're such a hassle, and they take a long time to get used to. All eyes 'gunk' up over time, just as they do overnight, so there's always going to be times when you have to take them out and clean them. It's a pain when you're out somewhere and don't have access to a sterile environment.

I have blue eyes (not the clear/bright kind) and was interested in getting the ocean blue or aquamarine color. When wearing these contacts can someone tell if you have them on? Especially if they are standing in front of you or on the side of you? I'm wondering if they can see the cirle edges of the lens. I've never had contacts before. Thanks!

@Venomized My experience is that aquamarine (or anything with a green tint) have no noticeable effect on blue eyes. Only the ocean blue tint has a good effect. People who know me well know when I put in blue tinted lenses, because the eye colour really stands out. Eye colour change is something people recognise easily. If you wear deep blue clothing most people will think it's a reflective effect.

All contact lenses, including clear, are visible if you're fairly close to the person.
