Kermit's proto-emo song. JUST KIDDING

Honestly this is a classic and still good after 40 years. Kermit started it all w/ the Muppets, I think.

When I was small & heard this song, I remember the resonating compassion of the frustrations of being little, people passing you over. It's what you want it to be. That's what Sesame Street was about. Enlightenment, expression, and seeing the beauty in everything & everyone. Little white kids' eyes were open to the world's colorful splendor. I saw more diversity on Sesame Street in my 1st few years of life than in my own life. A priceless gift. If only the world's eyes could be that open to it.

"Bein' green" is now a catchphrase for living an ecologically sustainable lifestyle. It's not easy, but it must be done and if done can be REALLY enjoyable!
