cousins tries to micro-analyse Lynchs filming, whilst Lynch himself in contrast works by feelings and not anaylzing things - which is why his work is so great. At times the interview seems uncomfortable, but Cousins probes Lynch and gets some interesting responses, much better than jonathan ross could ever do. GJ Cousins.

this interviewer is pathetic, he doesn,t know to speak to such an important director, only foolly and simple questions, a huge waste of time

it's a very interesting interview but Cousins is the kind of chap who is convinced everything has a preconceived deeper meaning and is in obvious need of an "intellectual" explanation for every camera angle, overall pace and whatnot. He sort of reminds me of my college professors. Cousins is just incapable of undergoing a cinematic experience.

I dont mind the fact that this interviewer doesn't understand Lynch, but he seems to have no respect and that gets to me.
