  • this is what i called REAL Rinpoche.

  • it is nice to see how much a lama would do in order to benefit his students. he offers what they have written up to the Buddhas to help his students collect merit and wisdom. How kind and compassionate the lama is!! It is really time for us to reflect on how kind the lama to us is and how we should repay that. neonlama(dot)com

  • being stubborn is neither good or bad. It is an inherent quality. What makes it good or bad is the effect that it brings. In some situations being stubborn is more positive than negative as it is needed to be consistent in something and not give up. Everything depends on how you use it kecharapub(dot)com

  • Because the teacher knows better, if we follow through with what he says, we will gain much, much more than we can imagine because the Guru is giving instructions based solely for our own benefit and not his at all. This is the reason why his words can bring so many benefits to his diciples if they follow it through. More on neonlama(dot)com

  • Guru devotion is not about being a slave to the teacher but to train yourself up to be able to face reality and hardships. Learn more about Guru Devotion with Gurs for hire, enlighetment for sale (available at both kechara(dot)com and neonlama(dot)com

  • what Rinpoche is sharing is the Dharma that was taught by the Buddha. There is no reason for it to be wrong. All he did was present it in a way that we can understand but the essence of it still remains the same.

  • you rule. i love this talk, i listen to it all the time on my mp3 player. when i am not at the computer, and i love to watch it a billion times.

  • yep that's the book. To read the book before listening to this talk would make the book a lot more useful as you come to understand many of the things in it. It's really beautiful...

  • Guru Devotion is the root to all attainments since without a teacher there is no student and there is nothing to learn and no one to train. If it was not for the teacher, there would be no way for the student to know anything, therefore whatever that the teacher says, no matter how painful or difficult brings benefit in the long run for the student.

  • Rinpoche was not born in N.J. He took rebirth in Taipei, Taiwan. In Taiwan he was recognized as a Tulku at 7 months old, but his mom refused to let him go. Then taken to N.J.,USA. From Jersey, he left to California where he met his root guru H.H.Kyabje Zong Rinpoche, where Kyabje Zong Rinpoche re-recognized him again. In 1987 he left for Gaden in South, India. In 1992,chosen by Lati Rinpoche to go to Malaysia where he went on and off to teach. He resides in Malaysia full time now.
