Comet Elenin debunked: Part 3: Calculating the maximum charge

This simulation was designed for http://www.2012hoax.org/ to show that comet Elenin is no threat at all. It is based on the maths I did back then.

Recently I saw claims that Elenin was charged and collected by eons of space travel and this could zap Earth when it gets close enough. It is an idea taken from EU so I wanted to settle once and for all that planetary objects cannot become as charged as EU tries to convince us.

Big was my surprise that the complete charge is even far lower than I ever expected and dissipated faster than I ever thought possible. The complete maths is in the clip.

Because children and young mums get really scared by these doomsday claims, I started to create a series of debunking videos.

The lack of explanation for any of your post suggests that you don't either know what you’re posting, or that you can't explain it. No one can take this as fact or knowledge just because you have some fancy equations posted without explaining them even the littlest bit.

Is this a joke? This is what you learn in physics class when you are 15-16.

The only explanation that I might have to add is what Solve[Fc=Fn, q1] means. It means that you rewrite the formula so you extract q1 where the Coulomb force = the gravitational Newtonian force.

For the rest this math is kids stuff.

Not really, this EU is used in many of the Domesday claims.

One such example was one claim that a comet would charge up.

yes yes yes the link -considering the INTENSE speculation over this COMET and yes we have a comet here,why go to "VESTA"...would this not be easier & cheaper in these times???? @enlightenment2u who have you the right to call these people amoebas? these people just have the guts to defy what others call norms. if people like these dont exist, you would still be listening to bach's songs and that means we will not be singing the songs today, we would still believe that the world is flat, people would never care to invent telescopes, scientists wouldn't be benefiting to the works of tesla. you might be smart and know a lot but that doesnt give you d right to name others.
