four minutes of walking? really we could have got the point with much less. for the "action" of the story it was too dark to even see!

@openingur3rdeye Yeah I had some lighting difficulties! :) Since I didn't use any dialogue I decided to go with a music video approach. I learned a lot making this film and one thing is, like you said, the walking got boring.

The facts are wrong.

She was killed very late at night (around 3:30 AM) in two separate attacks. Nobody witnessed the entire thing, and there was no apathy involved.

People thought it was a lover's quarrel. Some people actually did call the police, but they didn't respond.

@Rayven10 thanks for the input. I know it is not very factual but I was only using the case as a sort of back bone or inspiration. I was simply going for the emotion of a senseless murder. I wish I could have done the story more justice.

@jamiesjunk123 I know right? I took some liberties and updated the time period. I thought it would be interesting to start with the ipod to relate to the music.

@OdeToNecrophilia That is certainly true now. Calling the police in a large city is virtually useless.

But Ms. Genovese wasn't actually in a big city, and the times were different. The cops didn't come because they believed it to be a rather uneventful call, and so they didn't treat it with any priority. Had they come on the first call, she would have been wounded but alive.
