EINHÄNDER — LEGITLY UNLOCKING Unknown Fighter Type 2 Without Cheating — Part 1 of 4

Tho I fucked up several times, and died in some of the absolute dumbest areas, in some of the absolute dumbest ways, the deed was done.

This video was mainly done for encouragement and strategy forming purposes, for the true fans of this game that have never unlocked this SEEMINGLY ungettable without cheats secret ship, and to clarify the ABSOLUTE TRUE condition that has to be done to unlock this ship

May vary for the Japanese version, but for the North American version, the goal is to beat the game on Hard Difficulty without continuing more than THREE times, not ONE time [ Since I ( unfortunately ) made use of all three, and that you'll ACTUALLY SEE that if you watch this entire playthru, there is no question that the above mentioned condition is the true condition ]


Some Tips —

Use the Astraea, for it's two weapon startup advantage instead of just one

Using said ship, 2 Junos, 2 Flashs, or one of each, is the overall best startup weapon combination, if you die in a sticky spammy area [ like the second half of stage 5 ], or a boss, you re-spawn with two strong weapons, with great ranging, and a rather decent amount of ammo

Secret Bonuses aren't required, if you feel one is too hard to obtain [ ESPECIALLY in hard mode ], don't bother trying to get it

Score is somewhat important due to the fact that it can get you extra lives, get the multiplier to 16 as much as you can [ I cannot stress enough how helpful finishing a boss off with 16 is ]

Familiarize yourself with where and when weapons and enemies will spawn, analyze and obtain the best weapon set to pick up per area [ it will always vary per area ]


Weapons —

Stage 1A — Riot

Stage 1B — Spreader, Grenade

Stage 2 — Vulcan, Grenade, Hedgehog, Cannon, Manipulator

Stage 3 — Wasp, Grenade, Blade, Flash [ if you can get it ]

Stage 4A — Vulcan, Cannon, Grenade, Juno [ if you can get it ]

Stage 4B — Spreader, Mosquito, Hedgehog

Stage 5A — Wasp, Hedgehog, Grenade, Manipulator

Stage 5B — Riot, Vulcan, Manipulator

VS. Geier — Manipulator, Machine Gun, Vulcan, Grenade, Hedgehog, Blade, Cannon

VS. Schwarzgeist — Grenade, Cannon, Hedgehog, Vulcan, Wasp

VS. Hyperion — Juno, Cannon, Wasp, Machine Gun [ Orange You Surprised I didn't say Grenade ? :V ]


If all goes well, you should be able to finish using three continues or less

I discovered a juno from the first level, I believe the boss has it. I cannot remember though I do remember fighting him and he was red instead of blue though??? :/

@ShatteredToDust Boss is primarily green, you'll never get the Juno from that.

Boss is alternatively blue, Juno appears completely at random from this one and difficulty settings are irrelevant.

To get the alternative, you have to destroy the MINI bosses root shell [ Secret Bonus 3 ].

lol I might buy that, but I think Id rather get a PS1 :) they sell ps1's for $20 in this one store :o but Einhander will cost me $40 - $50 sadly
