Unpacking and installing a set of Jesse Odyssey panniers on a 2009 BMW F800GS.
NOTE: Since this video was posted I have been told the hardware on the boxes does not come attached and it has to be installed by the purchaser. This was not the case when the video was made so that detail is not included.- Dan

  • Hi Dan! This rack doesnt look like the one on Jesse site, but a updated one (the right side have one more anchor point, under the seat). Am I right? This is the Odissey or Odissey II? Thanks!!!

  • @Sandro2746 I looked at the xploremoto site and didn't see anything different. There was a bracket coming out from under the seat on both sides, and the video has the same.

  • nice video...these are probably the best panniers for the f800...

(btw was that gothic sound intentional in 0:51-0:55?)

  • @tH0d0RHs It is an airplane going over head.

  • This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for sharing.

BTW, what kind of tires and crash bars do you have on the F800? Thanks.

  • Tires are TKC80 and Crash Bars (and matching bash plate) are Adventure Spec in England.

  • It was really nice reference film for me to review which aftermarket pannier system would be appropriated for me to go out camp with my partner. Thanks !!

  • We fitted some for a Canadian customer in whilst he was in England to his R1200

  • Great video. Exactly how a how-to video should play :)

  • Agree on the best panniers. Probable the ones I will go with on my 800GS. The bags sit very close to the bike, which I really like.

  • A very useful video that shows the quailty of the product.

    Looks very nice!
