these mushrooms grow on old grow trees usually and or redwoods .they eat and or have symbitioc relationship .also provides food and cover for species habitate.usually some forms are edible when young other wise grow hard.also called artist mushroom.you can draw fine art on mushroom and it will stay and oxify stain the picture.paul staments is the worlds leading mycoligist and reasearcher of mycelium products and living industrial chemical toxic eating microbes.

  • i loved being in the pacific northwest... used to work at rainer natl park.. but after our whacked out adventures to widespread shows we'd go sleep in the woods outside of puyallup... i will have to make a video of my own little "fern gully" here in the midwest.

  • @WatercolorLoving oh yea fern gully ,ha,yea i think they actually modeled that movie after orck in crecent city area abovr me on the oregon border.ther is a canyon place called fern canyon.it is on the beacha nd there is redwoods up to the beach.so you can go hiking in the redwoods or up down the beach.there are many elk herd there,wild on beach and everywere.that coolyou have your own nice spots out there,peace

  • @mrhumboldthippy yup yup I've been there... right near the beach. There were elk hanging out on the beach when I went there.
