It's shocking to me that Untouchability is still such a glaring issue in India (and maybe among some of the Diaspora here in the States). Though this movie was fictitious and set in the twilight of the Victorian Era, its social relevance for our time is undeniable. The British Raj used caste and religion to divide the people and keep them down! We should all be like Bhuvan, seeing the best in all irrespective of these trifling traits! Only then will we bring about positive change all around!
