Two takedown bows i've made. They have limbs from fir branch and beech risers, finished with old fried sunflower oil-ideal for the purpose :). Not very powerful, but fun to make and shoot.

  • @kaziklu79 How difficult were these to make? Poundage on the draw? Length of draw? Im really interested! What sort of wood would you recommend?

  • cool dude

  • Very well made! May i suggest increasing your draw length. This may be achieved by further tillering or getting better wood. If you live in england, ask your local Vicar at the church if you may have a branch of yew, or, find an ash tree and lop a thick stave from it. Ash is really common, take a look on google images for pics of ash seeds and then you will know what they look like :) Also, I would increase the length of the limbs, and shorten the riser.

They are never the less briliant, though

  • did chuck norris help make these by any chance?

  • man that so cool

  • Thats nice
