I can really appreciate Melissa's message. On your first trip you see the poverty and it takes a while to absorb it. However on your second trip you see the hope and dignity that Compassion gives not only to the children, but to their whole family. The bond between sponsor and child is multiplied. I am so blessed to be associated with the ministry of Compassion
