Torment II - Regret

Torment II - Regret | Regret is the second in a series of pieces I'm currently writing. This particular installment was composed while I was enrolled at the American Festival of the Arts' 2011 Summer Conservatory. While there, I had the wonderful opportunity to collaborate with Cooper J. Verona, a student at the Houston Ballet's Ben Stevenson Academy, who created choreography to the piece I wrote - I should say, rather, that the entire thing was a collaborative effort; we spent hours arguing and discussing before we finally got to the inner substance of what we were trying to portray.

In this recording, my piece is performed by Richard Nunemaker (clarinet), Andres Gonzales (violin), Rodolfo Morales (piano), and Steven Wiggs (cello).
