Russia has unveiled the prototype of its new 5th generation fighter. The Sukhoi T-50 had its maiden flight Friday in the country's Far East. (Jan 29)

Now, i had time 2 study the T-50 more closely. It seems very promising in design. But contrarily 2 Sukhoi Corps. claims of T-50 fully operational status within 4 yrs. is very unrealistic. It will likely require an additional 8 to 10 yrs. 2 achieving what thy seek.

I just find all these major military powers making new superjets a bit scary, and it seems that America has underatimeted there possible enemy's technology. Am I the only one here seeing a next arms race, that could lead to WWIII?
