  • Powdermilk Biscuits. Made from whole wheat grown in the rich bottom-lands of the Lake Wobegon river valley by Norwegian bachelor farmers, so you know they're not only good for you, but also pure... mostly. Heavens, they're tasty and expeditious, giving shy persons the strength to get up and do what needs to be done. Look for them in the big blue box with the picture of a biscuit on the cover, or ready-made in the big brown bags with the dark stains that indicate freshness.

    I remembered it all.

  • @creepmag62 I wouldn't be surprised if there really was an American Duck Tape Council, or even a Ketchup Advisory Board.

  • The Powdermilk segment normally seems to me to be a part of the show that exists for the sole purpose of giving the famously rhythmically challeged PHC audience something they can clappity clap along with... it's always exactly the same and uncreative, unlike all the other segments. This is an exception (especially Cindy Cashdoller)

  • The sound affects guy recently passed away.

  • The singer in the light blue sweater LOOKS like a Minnesota woman.

  • @keemez Saw her face on a CD cover in the merchandise store where they also have Powdermilk Biscuits t-shirts.

No, not a regular listener, I'm not even from the USA. I found out about PHC not before last week as I had heard about the movie. Then it fascinated me that there is a real show behind the movie and I read/watched all I could find on the web (and also bought the movie).

  • @nottobereal1

Huh... thanks. Now how in the world did you manage to find that? Are you a regular PHC listener? She seems to be a returning guest.

  • @keemez Look up Inga Swearingen on the internet. Seems to be her.

  • I have an overwhelming urge to try Powdermilk biscuits.

  • such great musicians

  • Hmm. So who's the blondie singer lady in the blue shirt then? Her voice is smooth like butta. I don't recognize her though?

  • @straightupwv Cindy Cashdollar. She was in Asleep at the Wheel also.
