If you took a blood sample from Alison and viewed it in a microscope, you'd see musical notes. She is a true artist and I feel so lucky to know of her and be able to enjoy the beautiful sounds she creates.

@AshleyAnnSongs I agree. I liked the "Everytime You Say Goodbye" era, when she was soloing on most of the songs.

Union Station doesn't do much soloing compared to a lot of groups. I, too, wish Alison would step out and saw a little more. She's outrageous. Just like Bonnie Raitt, who also does not play enough guitar anymore.

My only criticism of Paper Airplane (and I mean only, because it's great) is that there's hardly any fiddle. There are 0 solos! Maybe I'm bias because Alison's the reason I picked up a fiddle and I imagine it's difficult to play with headakes, who knows her reasoning, but I miss it!

@AshleyAnnSongs LOL I hear you as too me there is never enough of Alison on the fiddle but have to say, I didn't think Paper Airplane was all that bad when it comes to fiddling. Even if it sorely lacks an instrumental. :) But in case you didn't see, I just uploaded a performance of Little Liza Jane you are, I think, sure to enjoy. Merry christmas!

What year is this from-Alison looks real young-I first heard her in Houston way back when-I have all her vinyl lps and Steel Rails on 45
