You know, Rafeef is a Canadian citizen, whether or not Palestinian is her national identity. She's been living in Toronto for ages, now. The fact that she calls the Metro the "Montreal subway" betrays not only that she doesn't have any connection to the place but that she has a strong connection to another place where they call the underground rail system a "subway" -- enough for her to think the label applies to any underground rail system.
