I love how people say muscle cars can't handle, that car did pretyt damn good.

well I own a 78 fire bird, and I can attest for its ability to turn. This car is most definiatly low, only a couple inches off the ground.
Cars like the Z28, Trans-am, Challenger t/a, and boss 302 where all built to handle.

They used both, but mostly chevy's. The sleeved-down 350 mentioned above was never really well-developed so Firebird teams ran the Chevy 305. They were able to do this because Firebirds were available with that engine in Canada.

GM had handling down in some cars like the Camaro, which was designed for Trans Am Racing out of the gate.

i have a 1980 Indy 500 Trans Am...all stock
