Because Kent cigarettes [Lorillard] co-sponsored Dick's series from 1962 through '66, Dick and the cast often appeared in "integrated commercials" for their sponsor at the end of the program. This is a typical "pitch" from 1964, after which the sponsor I.D. followed {"'THE DICK VAN DYKE SHOW' has been presented by...KENT cigarettes. For filter and taste, only 'Kent Satisfies Best'"}.
