Banpresto can't translate anything because there's no local lisence for some of the mechs they have in any given title. And outside Japan, you know how lisences for mecha anime are scattered far and wide amongst different anime compaines...

@dropthepin You have it backwards. Its when an Anime IS licensed in the West is where the problems begin because each show that is licensed by a Western company wants their cut of the profits. And there is no set universal amount. So when you tally up everything you have to pay out to multiple companies, you barely can make a profit.

If a game like this features all robot anime that DONT have licenses its cheaper/easier but then harder to sell to people never hearing of said shows
