Yet another music video featuring the great Washington, D.C. Metrorail system. This one features a down escalator ride at the Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan station, one of the longest escalators in the system.

byankno1, you're right. The longest escalator (by a hair I hear) is in St. Petersburg Russia. Still, as a daily rider- as much bad press as its gotten lately, it is an awesome system. I've been on the subway in Prague which was built by the Soviets in the 70's, (so it's basically a Soviet metro) . The one thing they have on us is speed. Their escalators fly. You have to hold on for dear life. But here, we'd have a personal Inj. lawyer at each one waiting for somebody to fall on their ass.

you should try to go to the Medical Center Station, they have the 2nd longest escalators in the system...

When I lived in Woodley back in 2007, I remember first HATING to go on the escalator. I used to get crazy vertigo going down, then going up was also a nightmare because I was always afraid of falling backwards. By the 2nd or 3rd month there, I was running up and down those stairs, eyes on my paper, iPod blaring in my ears. Hahaha. GREAT VID!! Brought back alot of memories.

look me and my dad had to get up on that...first i nver bin to the place...and my dad like,one more turn and we be their im like ok..i was exicted but when i looked at the escalater i was like"OMGOSH"as you go up it scary but down nope
