From the Big Cypress Indian Reservation up to about the Yates Marsh area there are very few trees, so hammocking that section would be tough. Once you're well north of Lake Okeechobee you shouldn't have many problems.
Speaking of hammocks, are the conditions good for LNT hammock camping along the Florida Trail? We are planning a thru-hike starting next year in January, from the Keys to Pensacola.
