I get a lot of pleasure reading comments like yours seeinglight. Thank you for the kind words. I have put together several proposals for grants to get money to create a whole living library of these farmer gleanings. (like that word you used!). Haven't been funded yet, so, I just do them when I can.

We raise our own 'salad bar beef' too but on a much smaller scale. There is enormous satisfaction and comfort in knowing exactly what WE eating because we know exactly what THEY have been eating.
