RMS TITANIC - THE ORIGINAL FOOTAGE

Historic Information

In April 1912, the greatest ship ever constructed till the 21st century started and ended its unique voyage. Its name: Royal Mail Ship Titanic. This event would mark for ever the triumph of the motor boat over the great sail ships age.

The ship left Southampton's Port in the 10th April, captained by J. Smith. Cobh. Ireland was the last lands Titanic saw. This Star Aliance Olympic Class's was (one of) the most luxurious and sumptuous ships ever made; the most expensive passages costed what enough money to buy a house!

Four days after its very last departure, RMS Titanic hit an iceberg and there - in the cold waters of north Atlantic - 1517 lost their lifes.

So many people, and all those luxuries - lost. (Idea in 2:00 .)

Only in the 21st century would such a sea-crosser giant be built - Queen Mary II.

  • it seems every body forget a fact. Video or movie camera invented around 1920-30 but Titanic's maiden voyage was in 1912. So how this footage can be real? . this could be a footage of any other ship.Waiting for a clarification from the viewers...

  • @anoopbalan You should revise that information - it is absolutely wrong.

  • @LordMgls Buddy, plz visit wikipedia's page about video or movie camera. I could not find any facts that let me thinking this is real....To my best of knowledge video or movie cam didnt invent at that time. how you can say its wrong?

  • @anoopbalan video cameras are around since like the 1890s......

  • @anoopbalan The first video was recorded in 1888, by the late 1890's, they were making full movies.

  • This is the Olympic Guys.

  • @anoopbalan the first motion camera was invented in 1985.

  • @anoopbalan not true. On 28 december 1895 the first video ever was shown in a theatre.

  • @anoopbalan video footage was around by 1890

  • @gutaplayer That's wrong. This ist the Titanic in Belfast at Harland and Wolff in February 1912. The C-Deck ist totally diffrent than the Olympic(windows), because the Titanic had other cabines andhe ship hasn't any lifeboats at this time and the last painting of the hull also lacks. And if you look at 1.40 in the vid you can read "Titanic"
