when i first played this game..when i got to this boss..i had leveled everything equally for the most part...so i had like 5 water, 6 fire, 7 earth or something close to that...haha but im playing it again now using this video walkthrough just to see if its better than how i would have done it....

magic barrier is at earth level 36

Wind is a pansy element, why not earth? level 50 is magic barrier, i usually have 50 by the time i get to the volcano place, it really helps.

If i knew about the "heal" magic... anyway, it sucks when a game leaves you without any information. Maybe a NPC or 2 to explain some basics. But i'm used to nowadays games that explains almost everything. it only proofs that old games are not for pussys like me (- 3 -).
