@eliavel1 : French have a lot of faults but trust me in Japan there is more inhabitants than in France and you will find less people who speaks english there than in FR . And its same for US with foreign languages . Languages is a weak point for french people even if they learn several languages at school and starts learning english young , dont think they are proud to dont speak english that isnt true but for some french people english language will be usefull so what ? :)

By a treaty concluded in 1860 between the italian king and Napoleon III,the Nice-County was ceded to France as a territorial reward for French assistance in the Italian War of Independence against Austria, which saw Lombardy unified with Piedmont-Sardinia.The cession was ratified by referendum.G. Garibaldi, born in Nice, strongly opposed the cession to France(arguing that the ballot was rigged by the French). In 1940–1943 the city was recaptured and administered by Italy during World War.

Nice is a nice city and that all! I was bored to death there, luckily we were with a car and we were able to visit Monaco and move to Menton, and these are places that are worth visiting. Anyway, my conclusion after seeing Cote D'Azur: Visit Spain!

@hcanuck7 Yeah, I'm american and know that now :D Right when I got off the train there was a franch man who helps us find our hotel. There are good and bad people everywhere PERIOD.
I love France and the french. Its a wonderful and diverse country. So much to do and so many different kinds of people, like anywhere. I have always found them really great and so have my friends. Why dont you treat people with the respect they deserve. Im doing it with you and I dont know if you deserve any respect, after that outburst. My only hope is that your young and very very niave. Travel and learn , it may help you to develop.
