  • whats bolting it to the floor gonna do if someone really wanted it what would stop them form unbolting it

  • @mrnoi5545 The safe is bolted to the floor from the inside of is so it would have to be open for someone to take the bolts out.

  • I cant disparage your safe, my first gun safe was a $75 stack on key lock cabinet with 3 bolts and a continuous hinge, lol.

At the lower end of a tough to crack safe I would put Sturdy as probably the toughest, for the price. I think their lack of a slip handle is a concern, but they kick ass in the heavy duty department. If you get to the $4k range, the low end Browns are worth looking at.

I do recommend bolting it, makes it hard to take, leverage, and for the kids to tip over.

  • Thanks for the info. If I ever get the extra money, I'll take a look at those safes.

  • haw meny guns can it hold?

  • It is suppose to hold 14 guns but I have only managed to put 8 or 9 in it.

  • dude i have a fire safe just like that one holds 22 guns and was like 200 on black friday

  • @mrnoi5545 you goober how can they unbolt it dummy. It's a sentry if they really wanted something they could get in with a butter knife and a hammer. I hope you dont plan on reproducing.

  • is your basement gravel?

  • this gun safe is the same 1 i have have an it is good up to 30 mins @ 1400 temp is what my paper work said an my smaller 1 like this is godo for 30 min at 1250

  • @xmasman101 your mom has the combo in her arse...lol

  • Does it have good linkage

  • Me and my dad bought an 18 gun fireproof safe and damn that was chore getting it in the house. it barely fit in the doorway and weighed about 700 lbs and to make it worse, it was just me and him moving it. Thankfully its on the first floor, so no stairs except the step up into the house. I would definitely recommend paying some professional movers if you are going to be putting the fireproof one in the basement. They have special equipment to go up and down stairs
