  • Thanks for the awesome videos! I am beginning a HIT program next fall. I am only worried about being able to find work after graduation. do you think that with the implementation of ICD-10 that positions will open up for new graduates? Any insight/feedback on this from a HIM professional would be GREATLY APPRECIATED! Thanks again for the videos! Keep 'em coming!

  • ICD-9 or ICD-10...coding is coding and as long as you know how to code then you have what it takes to get a job. ICD-10 is going to be a learning experience for everyone involved so it may level the playing field some.

  • Thanks for another great video!

  • Your welcome!

  • Great Q & A session! I love that you are getting the word out about our field! I am currently studying to get my CCS!

  • I love my profession and I want people to know that it a wonderful career choice. 95% of people probably have no clue what it is that we do.

  • Thank you so much for such an informative video. I just have a couple of questions if you don't mind. I am recently finishing up my bachelors degree in business management. I currently do not have any experience so I've been contemplating on if I should go back to an associate degree in health information technology to give myself leverage and gain entry level or go right into my masters in health informatics. What are your thoughts?

  • I was thinking about going into HIM but I am nervous about not finding work after U graduate.

  • I am sorry to ask this but, What is HIM. I am a stay at home Mom and will be looking to change careers when I go back to work. I am wondering if this is something I could do.
