@sandes1988 It was no where near because of the way he was cycling, i.e, the point of the video. If he'd been where most drivers think you should cycle he'd have been off, such was the timing of the guy opening his door.

You know Great Western Road towards Anniesland Cross? The bus lane there often ends up with cyclists being hit by doors, nearly being hit by cars. Hope your message seeps through ;)

Exactly. I think you missed the point. The point is, because of my road position, the door was nowhere near me. Had I cycled where most car drivers think I should, however......

Generally I go past parked cars because I am going faster than them. Only just, though...... ;-)
