Well I do know Persians fled to India during Islamic invasion in Persia but that doesn't mean all white/light skinned people living in India are Persians.

I am a south Indian and many of the south Indians are light skinned people as well and it's just that majority of people live in poverty and remain exposed to hot sun without proper shelter are left dark skinned.
