I agree with Tribbinz, big record labels only spotlight the bands that everyone knows. true music is hidden among the millions of artists out there. the songs on the radio are the ones that sell a million albums. these arent always the greatest bands in terms of beauty.

You're clearly not looking hard enough for your music, because if you think Greenday and The Smashing Pumpkins are the only good bands out there, you seriously need search harder. I'm not trying to be argumentative, just there's a lot of good stuff out there if you look for it.,

I just think that the pumpkins out did all of their opponents. There is no other band that does that now.

It's all down to a matter of opinion, if that's what you think then that's fine, but you it doesn't hurt to be open-minded when it comes to what music genres you listen to.

I just don't think there is any bands or musicians that stand out to the other ones. Like MJ. There is only like pop rock. I like The Fray and more bands but there is just all this shit nowadays compared to the nineties.

Retain your innocence in a world full of sex hahaha. If you can dodge religion, politics, peer pressure and commercialism and still retain an indentity all your own then you have retained your innocence.
