Anh Do - Comedian & MC

Anh Do has played to sell out crowds at the Melbourne Comedy Festival and The Sydney Opera House.

As one of Australia's most sought after stand-up comedians, Anh is an accomplished comedian and MC with ten years experience. A talented writer, actor, producer and comedian, Anh's background in commercial law provides him with a unique understanding of the corporate world.

After bagging every comedy award in town, including the Sydney Comedian of the Year, and appearing on every television show featuring comedians including Rove Live, Spicks & Specks, Thank God You're Here, Dancing with the Stars and The Footy Show, Anh finally realized his regular gigs at Rooty Hill bikers club would one day get him killed. Since then, Anh has turned to his hand to acting, film producing and writing.

Anh is co-producer of the film The Finished People (Post 75 Productions), which was described by Margaret Pomeranz as "one of the best Australian films of the year". The film was officially selected for the Montreal International Film Festival and was released to rave reviews in Australia by Dendy.

Anh's other writing credits include the script for the feature film Footy Legends (Suitcase Films, 2003). In 2006, the film was released into theatres featuring an all star Aussie cast of Angus Sampson, Claudia Karvan, Emma Lung and of course Anh Do. He has been a sketch writer for the SBS's Life Support and was Sitcom Head Writer for Westy Ninja (Granada, 2002/03).

An accomplished actor Anh was a regular on Channel 9s Don't Blame Me and has appeared in guest roles on Seachange, All Saints and Pizza.

- Nominee for "Best Short Film 2001" and for "Best Screenplay 2001" AFI Awards

In 1999 Anh completed a Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Technology, Sydney.
