Sonic Adventure DX - Amy's Story, Part 3/5

Amy awakens in the land of the ancient echidna civilization. She sees a huge temple in the middle. She goes out the exit and out a tunnel which leads to an Emerald altar. She sees Tikal with some Chao. She approaches them and they scurry away. As the water by the altar begins to move Amy's vision fades to white.

Amy finds herself with the bird in the Egg Carrier's recreation room. She leaves and is encountered by Eggman, who stops her. She takes the bird away from her and takes from the bird a light blue Chaos Emerald, which is why Eggman was holding the bird captive. Eggman calls Gamma to destroy Sonic, Tails and Amy. As Sonic and Gamma fight Amy pleads for Sonic not to hurt Gamma anymore as Gamma helped her escape before. Sonic agrees to stop fighting. As the Egg Carrier begins rumbling Tails notes that it's losing altitude. Sonic tells Tails to take Amy off the ship. Sonic goes to fight and stop Eggman. Amy tells Gamma to leave the ship and to stop obeying Eggman as he isn't the kind of person he should be working for. Tails, Amy and Gamma fly away from the ship as it explodes.

Tails and Amy land in Station Square. Tails goes off to stop Eggman's missile attack. Amy sees that the bird has been holding a pendant containing a picture of the bird's family. She decides to help find its family. Gamma said to her before that the Egg Carrier was headed for Eggman's base in the Mystic Ruins, so she goes to look there first.
