We caught up with Johnny on set in India and were able to get a long distance interview with him about the screening of the film for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences film event "New Voices From Vietnam" and the development of Clash (Bay Rong). It was a great opportunity to hear from an Asian-American who went from superstar stuntman in such blockbusters as Mortal Combat, Spiderman, Collateral and Jarhead to superstar actor/writer/producer in Vietnam.

johnny was great in 7am arivu.i liked all the seconds he came in the movie.i really respect martial artists and kung fu people.hmm he is too hansome and hot.he has the powerful stage appearence and he also showed emotions.he is too good.he could be famous anytime.i just wish i knew him and be of his age [ sigh ]

Johnny! you were absolutely amazing in 7aum Arivu. One of the best actors i have ever seen. One of the reasons why the film is running successfully is because of you. Your fighting scenes, your expressions were phenominal. We are all speechless after watching the movie. I really hope you do more Tamil movies. You are so talented, sooooo cute and handsome!! Your a gem of a guy!
