It'll be an improvement over the xbr9 but it should be fully back lit. Anybody who spends $4500 dollars on this tv is wasting their money.

Amazon has them for $2899 each.
But you better be quick because when they are gone, they are gone..
Amazon is not looking to restock for US shipment because of a court case that Sony is currently in.

This TV is great but it is very expensive. The last time I saw the price on a 46" model it was at least $4000. That is double the price of a samsung LED tv.

Imagine this TV with local dimming, 600hz and made at 40" too, I would wet my pants...hehe! ^___^

Sony puts their best video processors into the xbr series thats why only the xbrs look better than samsungs. As i can see from this video it will be the first time you can get a top of the line xbr (not entry level xbr) this thin.
