Day of the Dead on Pictures- Dia de los Muertos en fotografias

Now that we are approaching All Souls and all Saints celebration (Day Of the dead), I thought to be a good idea to show on picture the way we celebrate this tradition in Mexico. In this video, I show the flowers market where people buy flowers and other items in preparation to honor their dead. It also shows the activities that take place in the cemeteries: cleaning and decorating the graveyards, where they receive and welcome the souls, and the all night vigil to pay respect to their love ones. By the same token, it show some home altars where people gathers in the core of the family to honor and pay respects to their love ones that have passed. I hope you like it!


Ahora que se acerca el día de los muertos, pensé que seria buena idea mostrar con fotografías como se lleva a cavo esta celebración en el estado de Michocan, Mexico. En este video, muestro los mercados donde la gente va a comprar flores y otras cosas necesarias en preparación para rendir un homenaje a sus seres queridos que ya murieron. También muestro las actividades que toman lugar en cementerio como: la limpieza y decoración de las tumbas para recibir las almas de los santos difuntos y la velada donde la gente se junta para rezar, comer y celebrar la vida de sus seres queridos que ya murieron. De igual manera, muestro algunos altares que son erigidos en el ceno de la familia para celebrar con comida y bebida la llegada de las almas de sus difuntos. Espero que les guste!
