Sunderland 2018 World Cup Host City Bid 'Lighting Up Lives' DVD

The short film captures the regionality of Sunderland's World Cup Host City Bid and the fact that we have been working in partnership with organisations across the region and Cumbria to ensure that if we are successful, as many people and places as possible benefit from us hosting matches in the World's largest sporting event.

It shows people (and their footballs, of course) from across the region coming together and ending up at the Stadium Of Light via a number of regional landmarks.

Very good...really captures the footballing culture that IS the North East of England - Gods own Country....our kids participated in the filming at the Stadium of Light and had a really fun day, treading the hallowed turf and hitting the back of the net...and the back of a few heads !...haway the lads !
