Flamenco Dancing: The Zorongo

The Zorongo is a very unique dance. the lyrics are a Lorca love poem, and the dance moves and singing express the special atmosphere that this poem creates.

what you call pure flamenco is actually quite a potpourri of different cultures and contains many elements of arabic origin too

@duplosrce True . The guitar is descended from the oud which became the lute then the guitar.

This is influenced by Gypsies and Arabic music scale. Guitar is an Arabic instrument as well. It's brought by them to Spain.
