Stairway to Heaven The Australian Doors

From the 1989-1990 Australian Broadcasting Corporation TV series "The Money or the Gun", starring Andrew Denton.

In Sydney at that time there were a lot of "tribute" bands around the pub scene. Made for some very surreal nights out!

These guys were great. I recorded most of their gigs whenever they played around south east Queensland for them and myself. After they stopped being The Australian Doors Show, they called themselves GSH (game show hippies). I did recordings for another group, Absolutely Live, The Australian Doors,(vocals Tony Dee), however they never performed in the same league as Biggles (Steve) & co., but then in Jim Morrison style, the A.D.Show did do some crappy performances. I miss those days.
