Set during the Mau Mau uprising in 1950's Kenya and the ensuing bloody State of Emergency, two boys' lives are changed forever as their friendship and loyalty are blown apart by fear and betrayal.

Drawing on African music and movement styles, combined with a powerful mix of text and physical story-telling theatre, Burn My Heart is a fast-paced, devastating, and highly relevant story, not to be missed!

Burn My Heart is based on the novel by award winning author Beverley Naidoo and adapted by playwright Rina Vergano.
