i had a 805 snare that came with my set but i didnt like the dementions or the sound so i traded it for a acrylic one witch i dont like eather so im gonna stick with my gretch till i make my custom myself

Try this snare with puresound blasters, 16 strand snare wire. Sounds amazing, in my opinion.

ohhh. ok. yea, i only used the stock head for about a month. and i wasnt a very ehavy hitter on it. i hated the stock drum anyway. thats why i used a pork pie quilted maple snare. but i use a PDP 805 set though.

That's why. The snare didn't break, the stock head broke within 10 minutes of playing it.
