Shane Magowan is a great guy and i was brought up listening to the Pogues...thanks to ma Da....x x but never ever in your life is he better than Damien Rice, my Da would differ thou??lol.....As Damo sings...Everybodys getting old......x x

Well you should check him out. he's the lead singer and songwriter from the Pogues and in my opinion one of the greatest writers to come out of Ireland. I have to disagree that D. Rice is better. Magowans songs will outlive any of Rices for sure. Fairytale of New York is the most commercial hit of the Pogues so maybe you've heard it but this song is only a small scratch on the surface of Magowans brilliance.

the show was incredible... i have a few more (blower's daughter part 2, delicate, volcano, older chests), but i'm going to have to compress the files.. i would've recorded the entire show, but out of respect decided to put my camera away... wish i caught cheers darlin...
