Ashleys P.O.V.

I desperately waited for the phone to ring, then smiled when she picked up.

"Hey honey, how are things?"

"Mom, Im SO ready for you to come home."

I could hear her surprise.

"What? Are they that bad?"

"No. The boy is really nice and I havent met the rest."

"Then whats the problem?"

"The problem is I have butterflies on my walls."

"Oh."

"Exactly. MomI cant stay here."

"Sweety, just meet everyone else before you make that decision. I know youll love them and theyll love you."

"Well see. I can be very hard to love."


Nicks P.O.V.

School was over, and I was pacing around the front of the porch. I heard a door shut and looked to see Miley running over from across the street. Thank god, she was taking so long.

"Hey." I said as she jogged towards me.

"Hey Nicky." She said, smiling and hugging me tightly. I hugged her back.

"Ready to meet her?"

She laughed.

"Yeah you big baby. You make it sound like shes some tiger that just cant wait to attack me."

"Youre very close."

Miley rolled her eyes and opened the front door. We both looked around. No one.

"I guess shes still in her room." I said, whispering.

"Nick, you dont have to whisper. Its your house."

She trudged up the stairs and paused at door, taking a breath before knocking on it.
