I have had really good luck with 2s and that is this little beasts mainstay. This was just to see how fast it was on 3s on the street. On dirt 3s would just spin the tires so i dont see the point, speed dont mean crap without control.

@omenwolf2000 is the car pushed very hard with 3s?? I run on 2s can I buy the 3s and driving without having to think more about it???

@tim234mumba Its not to bad, if i had a longer strech of road with no traffic i probably could have got it a bit faster. But the front end kept wanting to come up on me at about half throttle.

@richandiben both have issues but i prefer the savage, having the 1/10 scale 4pole system in it and using full size lipos is what clinchs it for me

Stock pinion or optional (from box)?
Do you think that using in this way (asphalt, straight on) 3s the esc wouldn't fry?I understood it fries when you use 3s offroad...is it right?

@sibylvane75 i had no issues on the street with the 3s lipo, but i wouldnt even think of running it offroad with 3s. And i used stock gearing but hpi doesnt recomend that and i usually only do a few passes
