The incredible thing about the song is how painful it is. Whenever I reallly lose it and that doesn't happen too much but when it does I listen to ths track as loud as possible, with all the lights off. It reminds me that I am not alone in my suffering and that things could be a lot worse. As a teen it helped me contextulize my suffering. People laugh at others who are honest about when they suffer. They call them emo but they are just affraid to be real. This song is as real as it gets.

I appreciate your viewpoint, but how could you say everything happens for a reason!? There's a reason children are molested? Wtf, man.. there's no reason a child should be raped. Not even so he can go on to write genius music that people can relate to.
