just what i thought too. i was wondering why they failed to mention that the chorus didn't really stand out from the verse.

  • This song does not define the chorus enough and yes it is far to long, to much lyrics not enough repetition but the melody is nice.

  • searxh for it on the thing your using!!! (a computer)

  • This song would have been great shortened and not so jumbled, with so many lines. It has a very 80's feel..People make the mistake of writing songs in the wrong era. Write today's sounds or they will never get played. Sad but true.

  • Great song, flowing, poetic lyrics, and a nice melody. Shame on these critics for their comments on the length and such. There are so many great songs out there, in varying lengths and styles. What potential hit-writers need is direction on the creative process, not to be told to keep in short. There is such a thing as a radio edit version of a song. So make it long and then make a shorter version for radio.

  • It's a good thing we have the critique boutique to tell artists how to make a song easier to digest by taking out the "personal nuances" and keeping it nice and short. Otherwise a listener might have to actually invest some time into learning to appreciate and understand a song. And we all know that these days the musical "journey" takes about 3mins 45seconds and always has a catchy hook.

  • I actually like the time it took to build to the chorus. I thought it was a surprising place to spring it on us.

  • Yeah I didn't connect with the song but put the word sin in a song also turns me off as it starts to sound preachy but it was a lovely melody and he had a Simon and Garfunkel sound!

  • how can I get your book. I have recently come from africa and I am looking to share my music in america but i have no money. let me know where i can get your book
