Flash Back Continued

I walked through the maze of barely conscious party goers towards the stairs. On the way up I passed a couple barely dressed locked in a heated kiss and I shook my head
"Most certainly time we got out of here" I mumbled under my breath as I reached Aprils bedroom door. I walked in to find the room lit dimly from the lamp on her side board table. I walked straight to her bed not really wanting to stay there long to find her already laying in it in just her bar and skinny jeans
"whoa April I'm sorry I was coming to get mine and Annie's coat were going to make a move now I have a early morning tomorrow" I yelled in shock covering my eyes with my hand facing my back towards her as she let out a small giggle
"Kevin its ok I was just getting changed...you can turn around now" she almost purred and I hesitated before once again turning back to face. She was still dressed the same though this time she was now standing right in front of me
"April" I warned as I made my way passed her toward her bed where I spotted mine and Annie's coats
"Oh come on" she giggled almost frustrated
"She's your sister" I snapped looking at her and she dropped my eye contact almost like she was ashamed but it didn't last long
"She'll never have to know" she purred as she stumbled towards me it was obvious she was drunk
"Look April youre drunk so I'm just...." I was cut off by her body colliding with mine

The shock of the impact took us both flying backward onto her bed with her on top of me. At once her lips found mine and a feeling of complete discuss filled my body. I took her arms in my hands trying to pull her from me but she was having none of it. I resorted to shifting her body weight flipping us so I was on top at last freeing my lips and body from hers.

That's when I noticed Annie. There she was standing at the foot of April's bed watching the pair of us timidly, her tears hiding the ultimate hurt behind her eyes. I stood up quickly
"Annie..." I started but she cut me off
"I...I was just coming to see if April had something spare for me to wear" she almost whispered pointing to her dress that I now noticed that was dripping wet covered in what smelt like some kind of alcohol
"I didn't mean to interrupt" she barely croaked out before fleeing from the room. I quickly grabbed our coats never once looking back at April before sprinting out after her.

I spent the next hour searching for her until I finally found her curled up outside on a bench just the sight of her was heart breaking. It took a while but she finally listen to my side of the story. She seemed unsure at first almost persistent not to believe me but I was soon holding her in my arms again cradling her to my chest. I got quite a few question that night as to why my shirt smelt like alcohol but I didn't care I still had Annie that's all that mattered. Sure it took some time for us to build our relationship back to what it was once before but we did didn't we? I mean she trusted my word? She believed me?

End of flash back

I watched Annie as she almost seemed to fight with her conscious before looking up at him never once meeting my eye.
"Yes" she stated but even I could hear the hesitance behind it and at once the man smiled. All of a sudden the chair seemed to rattle from underneath me and at once my body felt like it was being set alight and I jerked forward. It felt like someone was feeding volts of electricity throughout my body
"Kevin" Annie's screams erupted through the room
"Stop! Whatever your doing stop!" Annie continued to scream yet the pain never ceased.

After what felt like entirety though was probably only a few seconds the pain stopped and I hunched over hanging my head
"I told you to answer truthfully Annie" the man smirked knowingly
"What did you do to him" she spat back
"The pair of you are strapped up to lie detectors, if you answer truthfully your fine but if you lie Annie your opposite partner here gets a little shock" he smiled. So he did pass electricity though me. I groan as I tried to sit up and at once I was met with Annie's eyes filled with so much guilt
"I'm so sorry" she whispered to me and I couldn't help but feel slightly betrayed disappointed she promised me that we passed that yet she still refused to believe me. "Your turn I think" the twisted man smirked after a while of silence losing the rag from my mouth like he had done to Annie before once again taking his seat
"Have you ever lied to Annie over something major" the man asked a twisted smile playing across his lips as I turned to face Annie. Her eyes closed shut in anticipation. Though there was no need this was one question I knew the answer to and I wasnt scared to admit it
"No" I stated truthfully and I watched a small smile spread across Annie's lips at the realisation of just what that statement meant. It hurt that it took us to this situation just for her to truly believe me though did I blame her.
